Culpepper exited Tuesday's game early with a hamstring injury. Further examination on Wednesday confirmed a mild hamstring strain, so the rookie will be placed on the IL. Culpepper could return for the final weekend of the regular season if the issue heals quickly. The young rookie has hit .275 with three homers over 31 games for the Twins.
