Jacob Lopez allowed one earned run on two hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings in Friday's win over the Astros.

Lopez continues a strong stretch on the mound of late, allowing two earned runs or less in 10 of his last 13 contests. The left-hander has battled command issues for a majority of the season for manager Mark Kotsay as part of a disappointing Athletics rotation, posting a 5.47 ERA and 1.49 WHIP with a 7-5 record and 8.2 K/9 ratio across 27 appearances.
