Andrew Heaney placed on disabled list with strained UCL

According to Jeff Passan of Yahoo, Left-hander Andrew Heaney has a been dealing with a strained muscle flexor and looks to be a lot worse which could lead to Tommy John surgery. Heaney is going to try and rehab the injury with hopes he does not need surgery. Heaney only made one start this year, giving up six runs and taking the loss to the Cubs on April 5. Fantasy Impact:
It has been a rough morning for the Angels. Not only is there fear that Heaney might miss the rest of the season, but news came out that Garrett Richards will miss the rest of the year with Tommy John surgery. With Matt Shoemaker recently being optioned to AAA the Angels will need to make some moves as they currently have a four man rotation.
