Cesar Ramos gets the win in relief
by Mitch Cox | Sun, Jun 26th 1:36am EDT
Cesar Ramos provided the Rangers with a much-needed 2.2 innings of scoreless relief as Texas defeated the Red Sox 10-3 on Saturday. Ramos allowed just one hit, walked one and struck out three to earn the win, his second of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Ramos entered the game in the sixth with the Rangers ahead 8-3, but with two runners aboard and no one out. After last night's debacle where the bullpen blew a 7-2 lead against the Sox, this was a key moment in the game. Ramos came in and promptly struck out Travis Shaw and Bryce Brentz to end the threat.
