James Hoyt makes successful MLB debut
by Dan Schalk | Thu, Aug 4th 2:09pm EDT
James Hoyt pitched a clean inning in his MLB debut, striking out two batters while walking one. He did not allow a hit in the Astros 3-1 loss to Toronto.
Fantasy Impact:
The 29 year-old looked good in his debut after putting together a stellar 2016 campaign at the Triple-A level. Hoyt is looking to become a regular out of the Astros bullpen and should have a job while Luke Gregerson remains on the DL, but lacks any real fantasy potential.
