| We haven't seen Kevin Durant play in over a year and have yet to see how he'll fare with teammate Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn. It's very likely that Kevin Durant can return to form and average high-20's in the scoring department again, but the risk here should push him into the second round. In category-scoring leagues, he's a bit more valuable as his field goal and free throw percentage won't hurt you. We haven't seen him average over 6.8 rebounds per game since the 2016-2017 player so you're banking on him being a top scorer again when you draft him. Dave Kluge - FantasyPros | ||
| Durant is one of the most challenging players to project this season. We haven't seen the 13-year veteran in an NBA game since he ruptured his Achilles tendon in Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals. When he's on the floor he's been a model of consistency as one of the best pure scorers of his era, averaging 27 points per game for his career.
