Tomas Satoransky with quiet but well-rounded effort on Monday

by Dave Kluge | Tue, Mar 3rd 11:14am EST

Tomas Satoransky recorded 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3PT), six rebounds, five assists, and one steal over 31 minutes in Monday's 109-107 win over the Mavericks.

Fantasy Impact:

Satoransky is posting 10.1 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game this season so Monday's performance was slightly above his season averages. The potentially bad news for Satoransky owners is that Coby White is securing the reins as the team's best point guard. While Satoransky is still on the court for the tipoff duties, White has secured the lead point guard role in every other way imaginable. Coach Jim Boylen has been toying with the lineup a bit lately, switching Satoransky to shooting guard and starting Shaquille Harrison at point guard and letting White close out games. It appears that the Bulls will want to keep Satoransky a part of their lineup with a heavy dose of minutes, so the emergence of White could end up being a non-factor for Satoransky's value.
