Cameron Johnson explodes on to the scene with 21 points

by Jon Mathisen | Nets Correspondent | Wed, Mar 4th 12:21am EST

Cameron Johnson amassed 21 points (7-16 FG, 5-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three blocks, two assists, and one steal across 33 minutes as the Suns lost to the Raptors 123-114 on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

The 21 points, five three-pointers, and three blocks were season highs for Johnson, who logged 30-plus minutes for the first time since December 27th. He's been up and down all year due to lack of consistent playing time but talent hasn't ever been an issue for the rookie. To say the Suns are shorthanded right now would be an understatement and it presents a massive opportunity for Johnson. He's probably earned more playing time with his performance and with the Suns missing some key contributors Johnson could start to see his minutes expand down the stretch. He's worth keeping tabs on as we enter the final month of the fantasy regular season.
