Devin Booker to see more minutes at point guard going forward?

by Dan Titus | Suns Correspondent | Thu, Apr 16th 5:07pm EDT

On a conference call Thursday afternoon, Phoenix Suns head coach Monty Williams stated, "10-12 minutes a night, maybe more, would be the target for (Devin) Booker at point guard." (Kellan Olson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Booker is averaging 6.6 assists on the year so the news of him getting potentially more time at point guard only increases his value for next season. "Point Book" was created out of desperation as he was thrusted into that role in years past due to the Suns lack of depth at the point guard position. Head coach Monty Williams expressed confidence in his ability to create, stating that “he’s at a point in his career where he’s making the right plays consistently.” At only 23 years old, Booker has established himself as a top-20 fantasy player and this news only improves his outlook for next season.
