LeBron James expects NBA season to resume

by Dave Kluge | Lakers Correspondent | Thu, Apr 30th 1:49pm EDT

LeBron James tweeted that contrary to some reports about the NBA season being potentially cancelled, "Nobody I know [is] saying anything like that. As soon as it’s safe we would like to finish our season." (Lebron James on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It makes sense that Lebron would want the season to resume as his Lakers are sitting in first place with a record of 49-14 and primed for a deep playoff run. James, now 35 years old, is having one of the best seasons of his career averaging 25.7 points, a career-high 10.6 assists, 7.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 0.5 blocks. There have been reports about the entire season being cancelled, the remainder of the regular season being cancelled, or just the playoffs taking place with no fans. A lot of stories have contradicted each other, but James seems adamant that the season will eventually resume.
