Mohamed Bamba remains without a timetable for return

Speaking with reporters on Tuesday, Orlando Magic head coach Steve Clifford said that C Mo Bamba remains without a timetable for return. He went on to say, "there's no real timetable for him to be able to come back and fully participate. I think that he'll be able to do some things that are more organizational and everything. But he's a ways away, and there's no timetable on his return." (Josh Robbins on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It's certainly not the news Magic fans were hoping for after Bamba sent home from the Bubble back in August to undergo a post-coronavirus evaluation. Despite positive reports that the former 2018 lottery pick has shown no long-term health effects following his COVID-19 diagnosis in early June, Bamba still has a ways to go before stepping foot on the floor for the Magic. Khem Birch will likely enter training camp competing for increased minutes behind Nikola Vucevic at center to start the year.
