Dwight Powell (achilles) a 'full go' to begin the season

by Alex Burns | Mavericks Correspondent | Wed, Dec 2nd 11:41am EST

Speaking with reporters on Wednesday, Mavericks' PF/C Dwight Powell said that he has fully recovered from rupturing his achilles tendon back in January and will be a "full go" for the start of the season. (Chuck Cooperstein on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is great news for the Mavericks', especially with Kristaps Porzingis (knee) expected to miss some time to begin the year. As a result, Powell should receive an increased role for Dallas out of the gate and should hold some fantasy value for as long as Porzingis remains out. Powell and Doncic played 131 total minutes together in 2019-20 and his Per 36 numbers were 13.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.8 blocks per game.
