Jeremy Lin is expected to finalize a deal with the Golden State Warriors to join their G-League team, the Santa Cruz Warriors. Barring any set-back from the Chinese Basketball Association, he will be joining the team on an Exhibit 10 deal. (Sports Center on Twitter)
Although not joining the 15 man roster, Lin will be provided an opportunity to re-enter the NBA circuit after playing overseas last season. As an NBA professional, he has played for eight different teams, the first being the Warriors. Over that span, he has averaged 25.5 minutes of playing time, 11.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.1 steals while shooting 43.3 percent from the floor and 34.2 percent from beyond the arc. Should Lin return in good form and translate it onto the court, he has the potential to be a viable option off the bench to run the one position. For fantasy purposes, it would be best to fade Lin at this time. However, should he manage to find his way on the 15 man roster, he could make for an intriguing, long-shot flier in DFS formats.
