Joel Embiid gets back to form in win over the Rockets

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | 76ers Correspondent | Fri, May 7th 3:48am EDT

Joel Embiid totaled 34 points (10-17 FG, 0-2 3PT, 14-16 FT), twelve rebounds, two assists, and one block in 25 minutes in the Sixers' 135-115 win over the Rockets on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Embiid got back to form in the Sixers’ win over the Rockets, as he posted a 34.0 point double-double in elite fashion. He hasn't been playing to his ceiling as of late, which could be frustrating given his premium price-point. However, Embiid has been lights-out this season, so any concerns that this inconsistent play will persist should be considered within that context. He is an elite must-start talent anytime the Sixers are on the slate, but be sure to monitor his usage towards the end of the regular season as the team could opt to rest him in preparation for the postseason.
