Tyrese Maxey dominates in season finale win over the Magic

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | 76ers Correspondent | Mon, May 17th 1:30pm EDT

Tyrese Maxey totaled 30 points (11-19 FG, 3-4 3PT, 5-5 FT), seven rebounds, six assists, one block, and one steal in 35 minutes in the Sixers' 128-117 win over the Magic on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Maxey dominated in the Sixers’ season finale win over the Magic as he scored 30.0 points while contributing to every performance category of the stat-sheet. Throughout the year, the rookie showed great potential, often taking advantage of his spot starts by putting together performances that showcased his talent. It is not likely that he will see a significant role increase come playoff time; however, he is certainly capable of producing worthwhile value off the bench. This year Maxey played in 61 games and averaged 15.3 minutes, 8.0 points, 1.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.2 blocks while averaging 46.2 percent from the floor and 30.1 percent from beyond the arc. He is worth keeping on your radar if the injury bug decides to hit the team, but outside of that, he is a deep flier play at best for a stars-and-scrubs lineup.
