Kawhi Leonard shifts focus to the Jazz after win over the Mavericks

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Clippers Correspondent | Tue, Jun 8th 4:33pm EDT

Kawhi Leonard totaled 28 points (10-15 FG, 1-3 3PT, 7-7 FT), ten rebounds, nine assists, one block, and four steals in the Clippers’ 126-111 win over the Mavericks on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Leonard has shifted his focus to the Jazz after the Clippers' series-clinching win over the Mavericks. However, he saved his best fantasy performance of the series for last as he full stuffed the stat-sheet and put up a solid scoring effort in the process. Leonard ends the series having averaged 40.7 minutes, 32.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 61.8 percent from the floor and 42.5 percent from beyond the arc. He will look to continue his excellent play against a strong Jazz unit and will seemingly need to dig deep to keep his team playing at an effective and consistent level. This series should be another strong showing for Leonard, who has found success against this team throughout the year. Even though it may take him some time to get his stride, Leonard should be considered for your DFS lineups every time the Jazz are on the slate.
