The Timberwolves announce Karl-Anthony Towns had a successful surgery on his left knee’s lateral meniscus tear. (Dane Moore on Twitter)

Minnesota added that Towns will be re-evaluated in four weeks. The start of the first round of the playoffs is in a little over five weeks. He remains on track to return for the playoffs barring any setbacks.
