Chris Paul, Clippers parting ways

Los Angeles Clippers president Lawrence Frank issued a statement confirming that the team will part ways with 12-time All-Star Chris Paul after sending him home during their five-game road trip. (The Athletic)

Paul posted an Instagram story at 2:40 a.m. ET stating, “Just found out I’m being sent home,” accompanied by a peace emoji, indicating the Clippers were letting him go. Clippers basketball president Lawrence Frank later confirmed the decision in a statement and said the team will work with Paul on the next steps of his career. The team can trade Paul, who is on a one-year contract, starting December 15. Paul had previously announced on November 22 that this would be his final season. From a fantasy perspective, Paul's removal from the team does not impact the Clippers’ rotation.
