Greg Monroe on the Knicks’ radar

Sam Amico of Amico Hoops reports that the Milwaukee Bucks are interested in trading center Greg Monroe one year after signing him to a max contract. One of the teams that are interested in Monroe are the New York Knicks. This doesn’t come as a surprise since the Knicks aggressively pursued Monroe in free agency last season. (Amico Hoops)
Fantasy Impact:
I’m not really sure what the Knicks have to offer in a trade, but if it happens I can see Monroe fitting in very well with the Knicks. Monroe is a better player when used as a role player rather than the focal point of an offense. With Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Prozingis around, there would be less pressure on Monroe. I could easily see Monroe averaging 15 points and 10 rebounds on the Knicks.
