The New York Giants have selected LB Arvell Reese with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
Fantasy Impact: Reese will join a rebuilding Giants' defense that will now benefit from his 4.46 40-yard dash speed. The Giants will have the option to play Reese at off-ball linebacker or stand him up as edge rusher, and he should be able to translate his game from college to be productive at both. We will see where the Giants decide to play the 2025 AP All-American.
The Tennessee Titans have selected WR Carnell Tate with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: The first big surprise of the draft belongs to the Titans as they take Tate with the fourth overall pick. A 6-2, 192-pound receiver from Ohio State, Tate is an exciting pick for the franchise and gives second-year QB Cam Ward another playmaker with eventual WR1 status. He has good speed, hands, and size, and the Titans continue to load up on playmakers in an attempt to make Ward successful. He should have an opportunity to start for the Titans from day one.
The New York Jets have selected David Bailey with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: The Jets selected the more polished Bailey over Arvell Reese to help bolster their front seven. Bailey should be an immediate starter and will look to be a massive contributor to a Jets defense that struggled mightily in 2025.
The Las Vegas Raiders have selected QB Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: Mendoza was the favorite to go first overall in the draft after winning the Heisman Trophy and a National Championship with Indiana. Mendoza had an excellent season to propel him to the top of the draft, throwing for 3,545 yards, 41 touchdowns, and six interceptions. Mendoza will have a few talented play makers with RB Ashton Jeanty and TE Brock Bowers on the roster, but will have to hope that the offensive line performs better than it did in 2025. The Raiders also signed Kirk Cousins, which could give Mendoza a veteran to sit behind early in the season if they Raiders elect not to immediately start the rookie.
The Houston Texans selected TE Luke Lachey with the No. 255 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: Lachey held a limited role in the receiving game at Iowa. He will add depth to the tight end room for the Texans.

The New Orleans Saints selected TE Moliki Matavao with the No. 248 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: Matavao was a super physical tight end at UCLA and showed flashes at the Senior Bowl. He will compete for a depth role among the Saints tight end room.

Fantasy Impact: Croskey-Merritt should make the final roster in Washington, even as the No. 3 running back. However, the former Arizona star could push Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler for touches as a rookie.

The Detroit Lions selected WR Dominic Lovett with the No. 244 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: Lovett totaled 607 yards and six touchdowns on 59 receptions in his final season at Georgia. He will have the opportunity to compete for a depth role among the Lions wide receiver room.

The Los Angeles Rams selected WR Konata Mumpfield with the No. 242 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: Mumpfield hauled in 813 yards and five touchdowns on 52 receptions in his final season at Pittsburgh. He figures to compete in training camp for a depth role in the Rams wide receiver room.

Fantasy Impact: Prather heads to Buffalo, where he could make the roster as a rookie. While having any fantasy impact in 2025 is unlikely, Prather is worth a late-round pick in dynasty rookie drafts.
The Dallas Cowboys selected RB Phil Mafah with the No. 239 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: Mafah ran for over 1,100 yards in his final collegiate season at Clemson. He also combined for 21 rushing touchdowns across his final two years. He will compete for a depth role in a wide open Cowboys backfield.
The Seattle Seahawks have selected WR Ricky White III with the No. 238 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: White will join fellow Day 3 rookie Tory Horton in Seattle. The Seahawks have two starting wide receiver spots set with Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp. However, one of the rookies could beat out Marquez Valdes-Scantling for the third starting role.

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected RB LeQuint Allen Jr. with the No. 236 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: Allen ran for over 1,000 yards on the ground in his final two collegiate years at Syracuse. That included 16 rushing touchdowns in his final year. He will compete in training camp for a depth role in the Jaguars backfield.

Fantasy Impact: Johnson will have an uphill fight to have fantasy value as a rookie. The Buccaneers spent their first-round pick on Emeka Egbuka. The former Ohio State star joins Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Jalen McMillan in the wide receiver room.
The Chicago Bears selected RB Kyle Monangai with the No. 233 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: Monangai produced back-to-back seasons of over 1,000 yards on the ground at Rutgers. He also combined for 21 rushing touchdowns the past two years. He will compete for a depth role in the Bears backfield.
The Miami Dolphins have selected QB Quinn Ewers with the No. 231 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: Many had higher hopes for Ewers. However, the former Texas star landed in a sneaky good place for his fantasy value. Unfortunately, Tua Tagovailoa has struggled with injuries in his career, including missing six games last year. Zach Wilson is the current backup, meaning Ewers could earn the No. 2 role as a rookie. He might be a Tagovailoa injury away from starting.

Fantasy Impact: Smith doesn't have a clear pathway to fantasy relevance. However, the Chiefs have relied on seventh-round running backs in the past. More importantly, the running backs ahead of him on the depth chart have age and injury concerns. Smith could be a sleeper in deeper leagues.
The San Francisco 49ers have selected QB Kurtis Rourke with the No. 227 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: Rourke likely has no fantasy value in San Francisco, especially coming off a torn ACL. However, Brock Purdy is heading into the final year of his rookie contract and became the starter as a seventh-round pick.
The Seattle Seahawks have selected RB Damien Martinez with the No. 223 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: Martinez will likely have little fantasy value in Seattle. With Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet locked in as co-starters, the rookie will compete with Kenny McIntosh for the No. 3 role on the depth chart.

Fantasy Impact: Fidone landed in a sneaky good spot with the Giants. While Theo Johnson is the favorite to start at tight end, expect New York to give the rookie a shot at earning the No. 1 role.
