Alvin Kamara quiet in Week 5 win
by Anthony Cervino | Saints Correspondent | Tue, Oct 9th 8:15am EDT
Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed for 24 yards on six carries and caught 3-of-4 targets for 15 yards in Monday night's Week 5 win over Washington.
Fantasy Impact:
Kamara was quiet in Mark Ingram's return, which may have been expected despite his sensational start to the year. Moving forward, while I expect a similar split for the Saints rushers as they had in 2017, it wouldn't surprise me if Ingram saw extended work immediately, in an attempt to salvage Kamara for a deep playoff run. Still, Kamara is a top-flight fantasy running back and should be in your lineups expecting upside production. Saints have their bye in Week 6.
