As we approach the start of the NFL season, it’s fantasy football mock draft season. Today, we’re looking at a 12-team, 2QB, half-PPR mock draft. I had the 10th pick.

Fantasy Football Mock Draft
Below are the results of the mock draft using FantasyPros’ Draft Wizard tool. The league had the following roster settings: 2-QB, 2-WR, 2-RB, 1-TE, 1-FLEX, 1-D/ST and six bench slots. This team was graded 91/100 by the Draft Wizard.
Round 1: Ja’Marr Chase (WR – CIN)
With the top quarterbacks off the board, I went in a slightly different direction. Ja’Marr Chase should easily draw a target share of 30% or higher.
Round 2: Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR – SEA)
A few picks later, I ended up with Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who will once again be a candidate to not only lead the league in yards but in receptions, too.
Round 3: Brock Bowers (TE – LV)
At this point, I’m a full-on punting quarterback, instead loading up on some of the best talent possible.
The Raiders didn’t add any notable pass-catchers this offseason, meaning if Brock Bowers can stay healthy, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him finish with the most receptions in the NFL.
Round 4: Kyler Murray (QB – MIN)
I’m a big fan of Kyler Murray in Minnesota with head coach Kevin O’Connell and a group of receivers led by Justin Jefferson.
Murray is my QB1 on a roster that’s stacked with other skill-position player talent. His rushing upside and accuracy will play extremely well in this offense, and I believe there’s legitimate top-10 upside.
Round 5: Baker Mayfield (QB – TB)
Baker Mayfield is playing for a new contract this season, which is always some nice motivation. He had a down year in 2025 compared to 2024, but if he can get back to 2024 levels, this pick will be a massive win.
Round 6: Cam Skattebo (RB – NYG)
I needed to add some running back talent, and Cam Skattebo was the best option. He’s coming off an injury, but aside from the first game, where he logged a carry, and his final game of the season, when he got injured, he had double-digit carries every outing. Skattebo will be the go-to back for the Giants.
Round 7: Jadarian Price (RB – SEA)
I don’t love doubling up on Seahawks players, but I needed to start hammering running back talent.
Fellow Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet is coming off a knee injury, and if he misses the start of the season, Jadarian Price will have a chance to cement himself as the primary ball-carrier.
Round 8: Tony Pollard (RB – TEN)
Tony Pollard has run for 1,000+ yards in each of the last four seasons. He’s consistent and often overlooked, but now enters an offense headed up by offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.
Round 9: Daniel Jones (QB – IND)
With my quarterback situation somewhat questionable, I wanted to add more options. Daniel Jones was racking up plenty of points last season, but he’s coming off a torn Achilles.
Round 10: DK Metcalf (WR – PIT)
I’m excited to see DK Metcalf in this offense headed up by Mike McCarthy. I think there’s much more potential here than last year with Arthur Smith. If Metcalf goes for over 1,000 yards, this pick is a steal.
Round 11: MarShawn Lloyd (RB – GB)
With a possible suspension looming for Josh Jacobs, MarShawn Lloyd (pending health) could finally get his chance to shine on the field. He’s been injured often in his career, but all reports say he’s fully healthy and ready to go.
Round 12: Fernando Mendoza (QB – LV)
It’s unclear if Fernando Mendoza will start the season, but even if he doesn’t, I don’t need to start him right away. If he does get on the field and I need to start him, I have the stack with him and Brock Bowers.
Round 13: Jayden Reed (WR – GB)
Jayden Reed could actually see a fair bit of action this season. He’s coming off an injury, but his primary competitors for targets are Tucker Kraft (also coming off an injury) and Christian Watson (who’s never played a full season).
Round 14: Jake Ferguson (TE – DAL)
Despite competing with CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens for targets last season, Jake Ferguson drew a 16.8% target share, catching 82 passes for 600 yards and eight touchdowns. That’s fantastic production from a backup tight end and possible FLEX option.
Round 14: Pittsburgh Steelers D/ST
The Steelers play the Atlanta Falcons and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in Week 1. In 14 games last season with the Miami Dolphins, Tagovailoa threw 15 interceptions. A pick-six is possible.
