Jimmy Kempski from the Philly Voice speculates that Alshon Jeffery will almost certainly be placed on PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) at the start of training camp in a couple weeks time. This is not a surprising development as Lisfranc surgeries typically require a nine-month recovery; which would place Jeffery's timeline around mid-September. (Philly Voice)
The question fantasy owners will have to ask themselves is how long is Jeffery going to remain on the PUP list? He missed six games last season, and three the year prior to that. When healthy Alshon Jeffery will command a significant number of targets including plenty of redzone opportunities. The good news for fantasy owners is Jeffery can be had very late in drafts this year as he is currently rated around the WR#60 in FantasyPros Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR).
