Fantasy Impact:

The Cowboys reportedly offered a contract worth $33-$35 million annually. The deal included $110 million guaranteed. As expected, Prescott and the Cowboys were unable to come to an agreement before the deadline. He will play on his one-year, $31.4 million franchise tag. Both sides will have to wait until after the season to work out a long-term extension. The 26-year-old is projected to be a top-5 fantasy QB and is currently third among all quarterbacks in the latest expert consensus rankings.
