Fantasy Impact:

Newton will be placed on the COVID-19/reserve list after reportedly testing positive Friday night. The Patriots released the following statement: "Late last-night we received notice that a Patriots player tested positive for COVID-19. The player immediately entered self quarantine. Several additional players, coaches and staff who have been in close contact with the player received point of care tests this morning and were all negative for COVID-19." New England was scheduled to leave for Kansas City at 1:00 PM EST, but the trip is on standby as they await more test results and guidance from the NFL, Schefter added. If the Patriots-Chiefs game plays as scheduled, Brian Hoyer or Jarrett Stidham would draw the start.
