Derrick Henry suffers potentially season-ending foot injury in Week 8

Titans’ star RB Derrick Henry suffered a potentially season-ending foot injury in the team’s Week 8 overtime win over the Colts. ESPN's Adam Schefter notes it could be a Jones fracture that would require surgery (and end his season). (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Henry is undergoing an MRI on Monday to determine the severity. He had to come out at one point in Sunday's game as it appeared he was dealing with some discomfort in his foot. He ended up returning to the game, ultimately playing on 74% of the snaps. No other running back had a carry in that game, while Jeremy McNichols saw three targets. With Darrynton Evans out for the season, it appears McNichols could be the first option for the Titans, however, expect them to be in the market for a running back. Marlon Mack would certainly be a good fit as he and the Colts have mutually agreed to seek a trade partner. But ultimately he’s in the same division so it’s possible that doesn’t work out. Other guys that could make sense are Ronald Jones, Ty’Son Williams, or even Mike Davis. This would be a devastating blow to all those Henry fantasy managers that have been given golden performances through eight weeks of the season.
