Tyler Goodson rushes for 37 yards in preseason opener

Tyler Goodson got the start at running back with Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon sitting out the preseason opener against the 49ers on Friday. Goodson had 12 carries for 37 yards on the ground and caught two balls on three targets for 24 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
Goodson is battling for the third spot on the depth chart behind Jones and Dillon. While he got the first shot on Friday, other backs in the mix like Dexter Williams, Patrick Taylor, and BJ Baylor also got some playing time. None of these backs will be worth fantasy consideration unless either Jones or Dillion misses time.
