Fantasy Impact:
Johnson put together a solid preseason with Denver but it was not enough to beat Brett Rypien for the backup spot. The 36-year-old completed 35 of 53 passes for 349 yards and two touchdowns during the preseason. Teams looking for a veteran backup QB may take a look at Johnson now that he will be a free agent.
