Justin Jefferson to be held out with hamstring strain

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is dealing with a mild hamstring strain and will be held out of practice, according to head coach Kevin O'Connell. He will be re-evaluated next week. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

While there is plenty of time until the Vikings kick off their season, you never want to see a star player deal with a soft-tissue injury during the offseason. Jefferson has a current average draft position of the half-PPR WR2, according to FantasyPros' data, and his situation should be monitored closely as fantasy drafts approach. With Jefferson out, Jordan Addison, Jalen Nailor, and rookie Tai Felton will lead the way for J.J. McCarthy in early training camp.
