Omarion Hampton leads backfield attack in Week 1 win

Omarion Hampton carried the ball 15 times for 48 yards while also catching both of his targets for 13 yards in the Chargers' 27-21 Week 1 win over the Chiefs Friday night.
Fantasy Impact:
Hampton struggled to find much running room against a Kansas City defensive front despite leading the team in carries Friday night, averaging just 3.2 yards per carry in the win. Fantasy managers will need to monitor the backfield workload distribution over the next few weeks for more clarity on if the rookie running back remains the No. 1 option for head coach Jim Harbaugh ahead of a Week 2 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
