Atlanta Falcons defense and special teams chip in during win

by Paul Brenton | Falcons Correspondent | Sun, Sep 28th 8:38pm EDT

The Atlanta Falcons’ defense gave up 27 points but posted two sacks and one interception in their 34-27 victory over the Washington Commanders.

Fantasy Impact:

Xavier Watts’ interception was the highlight, while the defense also contributed two sacks and multiple pass breakups. The unit didn’t score defensively or on returns, which capped its fantasy output, but it made just enough plays to support the win. Atlanta’s DST remains a matchup-dependent option without the benefit of big-play scoring.
