Roman Hemby heads to Raiders as undrafted free agent

Hemby reunites with QB Fernando Mendoza in Las Vegas, despite not hearing his name called on draft day. He was a three-time All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honoree, earning it twice at Maryland and last year with the National Champion Hoosiers. In 2025, he rushed for 1,120 yards and seven scores, added 17 receptions, and averaged 22.6 yards per kickoff return. He's a powerful runner who can also catch the ball, and he's not afraid to stand in on pass protection. He'll provide depth in the backfield rotation in Las Vegas.
