DT Jalen Carter had his fifth-year option exercised by the Eagles which will keep the All-Pro in Philadelphia through 2027. (Zach Berman on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Carter, the ninth overall pick in 2023, has become one of the league's best defensive tackles. Over his three seasons in Philadelphia, Carter has totaled 108 tackles, 25 tackles, and 13.5 sacks while earning All-Pro honors in 2024. He did miss a handful of games last season with procedures on both shoulders, but returned in Week 17 and had a sack in the Eagles' Divisional Round loss to the 49ers. Carter should again be one of the top defensive tackles in the league again in 2026.
