Devonta Freeman

Devonta Freeman does it all in Falcons' win

by Justin Dade | Sun, Dec 27th 5:14pm EST

Devonta Freeman helped end the Panthers' perfect season carrying the ball 22 times for 73 yards and a touchdown. He also added three catches for 17 yards on the day. Freeman didn't see a whole lot of room to run throughout the game, but had a few nice runs to extend drives. Freeman walked into the end zone from four yards out untouched on a nice stretch play in the second quarter for the Falcons' first touchdown. With all things considered, it was a very solid performance from the back against a very stingy Panthers' defense.

Fantasy Impact:

Other than one drop in the passing game, Freeman played pretty well in this one finding the most of his yards in chunks. Freeman has had a great season as a touchdown machine and a great receiving back. Freeman will be a solid RB1 next week as the Falcons finish their season at home against the Saints and their subpar defense.
