Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee) has been cleared to participate in practice, according to head coach Andy Reid. (Nate Taylor on Twitter)

Reid informed the media that Mahomes has been cleared to practice to begin training camp after suffering a torn ACL last season. The two-time MVP certainly appears on track to start Week 1 against a tough Denver Broncos defense.
