Fantasy Football Player Notes

2020 Half PPR Rest of Season Rankings
Austin Ekeler Note

The good from Week 1 was the 20 touches Ekeler received. The bad was the one target. Anthony Lynn admitted that he needs to get Ekeler more involved through the air, so fantasy managers can expect to see that going forward. Ekeler lost carries to Joshua Kelley at the goal-line which is a bit worrisome, but in the end, if Ekeler gets 20 touches per game, he should have an excellent season.

Joshua Kelley Note

Kelley got the goal-line carries against the Bengals and did well with them, rushing for a score to go along with 60 yards. Particularly with Justin Jackson's quad injury, Kelley is the back to own behind Austin Ekeler. He has some deep Flex appeal most weaks, but has the added benefit of being a high-end handcuff.

Justin Jackson Note

Jackson is dealing with a quad injury that will likely keep him out a few weeks. Even when he does return, he's likely only third fiddle in the Chargers' running back group. Feel free to move on in fantasy circles.
