Fantasy Football Player Notes

The good news: Jeanty is dominating the backfield workload. The bad news: the Raiders have struggled to provide sufficient rushing lanes against the Chargers and Saints over the last two weeks. As a result, Jeanty has averaged fewer than three yards per carry in each of his last two games. That said, he is playing over 80% of snaps and has been involved in the receiving game. This is a true bell cow workload and provides a safe floor for fantasy even in the toughest of matchups. Good thing, because this week they face the Chiefs in a massive undefeated divisional team showdown. The Chiefs are allowing the 10th fewest rushing yards, however, a rushing touchdown per game through three weeks. I expect the Raiders will lean on Jeanty a lot this game as they try to control possession and keep Patrick Mahomes off the field. It may be another inefficient day, but its workload provides a safe, low-end RB1 floor.
