Fantasy Football Player Notes

Since Week 4, Ollie Gordon has been the RB16 in fantasy points per game, averaging 18.6 touches and 90 total yards. Among 42 qualifying backs, Gordon is eighth in explosive run rate and 23rd in yards after contact per attempt. The only drawback to Gordon has been the lack of passing game involvement. Over his last four games, he has only six targets and zero receiving yards. He has to get it done on early downs, which he has been doing. Gordon will find more uphill sledding this week, though. Over their last five games, Detroit has allowed the eighth-lowest rushing success rate, the fewest yards after contact per attempt, and the 12th-fewest rushing yards over expectation per attempt. He'll need a touchdown to pay off for fantasy this week, along with all the volume he can handle.
