Cam Talbot backstopped his squad to a 6-3 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday. He saved 21 of the 24 shots he faced for an .875 save percentage.
Talbot didn't have the busiest evening and got tagged twice by Elias Pettersson. The first one he had no chance on due to the one-timer he laid on him. The second one could of been prevented but the puck bobbled and Pettersson capitalized. In the end it didn't matter because his offense opened it up in the third and gave him a three goal cushion. That is back to back wins for Talbot which brings his numbers to 31-12-0-4 with a 2.78 GAA and .911 save percentage. Expect Marc-Andre Fleury to tend the net tomorrow against Seattle.
Cam Talbot stopped all 26 shots faced in a 2-0 win over Montreal.
Talbot improves to 30-12-4 with tonight’s win. This was a much needed bounce back game after allowing six goals on 30 shots in his last start against the Blues.
Cam Talbot shutout the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night stopping all 26 shots he faced.
A low-scoring, early in the week affair resulted in a shutout for fantasy owners in the championship week of the playoffs. A much better effort for Talbot after he was blasted for six goals last week by St. Louis. It's his third shut out of the year.
Cam Talbot coughed up six goals on 30 shots in a 6-5 OT loss to the St. Louis Blues. He posted an .800 save percentage.
Yuck. Not the performance fantasy managers needed during the playoffs. Especially after he had posted at least a .950 save percentage in his previous three starts. None of the goals came on the man-advantage. Look for Marc-Andre Fleury to be in net for the next one and there should be better days ahead for the veteran goalie. The loss drops him to 29-13-0-3 with a solid 2.77 GAA and .912 save percentage.
The Minnesota Wild fended off the visiting Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday, beating them 5-1. He saved 27 of 28 shots that came down ranged for a .964 save percentage.
It took Edmonton and Leon Draisaitl 5:39 into the third period to register a goal on Talbot and they needed to be on the man advantage to do so. It was a solid performance by the netminder after Fluery was the preferred option in the previous game. He also didn't look so hot in his previous start so this is encouraging. Unless he starts going on a roll, look for him to be in a 50/50 timeshare down the stretch.
