Robin Lehner allows one goal

Robin Lehner allowed one goal in the Blackhawks 2-1 shootout loss to the Golden Knights on Tuesday. He saved 33-34 shots against.

Fantasy Impact: The Hawks have received at least one point in all of Lehner's starts. Though his record now sits at 1-0-2. He now has a .944 save percentage on the season. The Blackhawks should benefit if they let him get the majority of the starts.

Kirby Dach scored the lone Blackhawks goal in their 2-1 shootout loss to the Golden Knights on Tuesday. He was a plus one with one goal on one SOG in 8:22 of ice-time.

Fantasy Impact: Dach has made the team rather quickly. Since he was just the third overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft. Since the Blackhawks are in a win now mentality they not only called him up to the big club they plugged him into the second line center position in his first game.

Anthony Mantha finds twine

Anthony Mantha scored a power-play goal in the Red Wings 5-2 loss to the Canucks on Tuesday. He was a minus two with one goal, one PPG and nine SOG in 19:47 of ice-time.

Fantasy Impact: Mantha scored the opening goal in this one to jump out to the early lead before, the Wings allowed five unanswered goals to squander a two goal lead. This was Mantha's first goal in his last five contests. He started the season off white hot and has since cooled off. He now has seven goals and four assists thru nine games.

Dennis Cholowski scored a goal in the Red Wings 5-2 loss to the Canucks on Tuesday. In 19:35 of ice-time Cholowski, was a minus two with one goal. one PPG, two PIM and a SOG.

Fantasy Impact: Cholowski has certainly showed his ability on the offensive end. He now has a goal and three assists on the season. Cholowski has definitely lacked some control in his own end. In order to become a fantasy starter he will need to clean up his own end to reach his full potential.

Jimmy Howard allowed four goals in the Red Wings 5-2 loss to the Canucks on Tuesday. He saved 36-40 shots against while taking the loss.

Fantasy Impact: Howard dropped his record to 1-4 after losing his fourth straight outing. In his defense he has faced 35 plus shots in three of his outings. the Red Wings will have to limit good looks at the net if they want to start stacking up wins.

Tuukka Rask stopped 28-of-30 shots as the Bruins earned a road win against the Toronto Maple Leafs Tuesday night.

Fantasy Impact: Appearing in his 500th career game against the franchise that originally drafted him, Rask earned his fourth win on the young season. He's allowed nine goals in five starts for a 1.80 GAA thus far. He and fellow Bruins netminder Jaroslav Halak remain must-starts in all formats.

Brad Marchand chipped in a goal and an assist as the Bruins topped the Leafs 4-2 Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact: The Bruins have struggled to get goals from players outside their "Big Three" of David Pastrnak, Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand, but that's not of concern to those who own the trio in fantasy leagues. Marchand now has a seven game points streak and five goals through nine games.

David Pastrnak notched a goal and an assist in Boston's 4-2 victory over Toronto Tuesday night.

Fantasy Impact: The NHL's most recent First Star of the Week, Pastrnak has now scored eight goals in his last four games. His nine goals on the season has him tied with Edmonton's James Neal for most in the NHL, while he ranks fourth in the NHL with 15 total points.

David Krejci placed on IR

Fantasy Impact: Krejci has missed two games since suffering an upper body injury in the first period of a 4-2 win over Anaheim on Oct. 14. The 33-year-old veteran is coming off a 20 goal, 53 assist season that gives him second-tier fantasy relevance. He has just one assist on the young season. Anders Bjork was recalled from AHL Providence to replace Krecji.

Anton Khudobin yielded 19 out of 20 shots faced in Dallas' 2-1 regulation win over the Ottawa Senators Monday evening.

Fantasy Impact: This was Khudobin's first solid performance of the regular season. In his last three starts, he was giving up on average 3.33 goals per game to opponents. The Stars are going to need to see similar performances like Monday's more often if they are to trust him as their backup. He is currently 1-3-0 with a 2.80 GAA and 0.899 SV%.

Tyler Seguin provided the secondary assist on Joe Pavelski's third period power play goal to double the Stars' lead over the Senators Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Seguin has now produced three points in his previous four games played. It is certainly encouraging to see Seguin starting to be more productive on Dallas' offense. That is exactly what the Stars need if they are to turn their season around.

Fantasy Impact: Parayko was a star in the playoffs last season to increase people's awareness of him. In his first four seasons, he has reached at least 28 points each season which is respectable for a defenseman in fantasy.

David Perron scored a goal Monday versus the Avalanche. His fifth goal of the season was the eventual game-winner.

Fantasy Impact: Perron has been a low-end fantasy option for several years now. He has eight seasons over 40 points which may not win most leagues at one of the wing spots but it can be a useful depth asset.

Justin Faulk recorded an assist Monday versus Colorado. The assist came on the game-winner.

Fantasy Impact: Faulk is one of the better goal-scoring defensemen in the NHL. He has six straight seasons of 30+ points but only one (2014-15 with 49). Faulk is not currently on the top-level of fantasy defensemen but he is a good option who should be owned in the vast majority of leagues.
