Logan Stankoven recorded his first career hat trick with three goals on five shots in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks.

Fantasy Impact: Stankoven recorded a natural hat trick, scoring twice in the second period and once in the third. He scored at even strength, on the power play and shorthanded. The 23-year-old now has four goals and no assists through five games this season.

Wyatt Johnston recorded three assists and a plus-two rating in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

Fantasy Impact: After being held scoreless in Monday's 5-0 win over the San Jose Sharks, Johnston bounced back with three assists on Thursday. The 23-year-old has yet to score a goal in four games but has recorded four assists and a plus-two rating.

Mikko Rantanen recorded one goal and three assists on two shots while posting a plus-three rating in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

Fantasy Impact: Rantanen scored in the second period and assisted on the Dallas Stars' other three goals, including one on the power play. He now has two goals and four assists with a plus-four rating through the first four games of the season.

Jake Oettinger stopped all 26 shots he faced to record his second shutout of the season in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

Fantasy Impact: Oettinger recorded a season-high 26 saves, including four on the penalty kill. The 26-year-old leads the NHL with two shutouts and ranks second with a .967 save percentage. He is likely to start on Saturday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Beckett Sennecke scored two goals on seven shots in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers.

Fantasy Impact: Carlsson finished with a minus-two rating but provided fantasy managers with two assists, both coming on the power play in the first period. He now has one goal and six assists through three games.

Tom Wilson recorded one goal and two assists on three shots and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Fantasy Impact: Wilson scored his first goal of the season in the first period, with Pierre-Luc Dubois picking up the assist. The 32-year-old added two assists in the second period and now has three assists in three games.

Bryan Rust scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Washington Capitals.

The 29-year-old offers head coach Jared Bednar another stable forward option as part of a deep Colorado lineup, posting three points (two goals, one assist) through two games so far this season.

Cale Makar was able to light the lamp for the Avalanche Saturday night, scoring one goal in a 6-1 win over the Blues.

Fantasy Impact: Makar is off to a torrid start to the season in the offensive zone, registering points in each of the first two contests. The 27-year-old continues to reward fantasy managers with an elite offensive option while leading the Colorado blueline group on a nightly basis, posting a 1.50 point per game average (one goal, two assists) across two games so far this season.

Fantasy Impact: Barkov was placed on LTIR last week after suffering a lower-body injury in the October 1 contest against the San Jose Sharks. The centerman will not require surgery, which is encouraging after he missed all of last season with a right knee injury. While he's sidelined, Lars Eller and Anton Lundell could see some opportunities in the top six.

Patrick Kane was able to light the lamp for the Blackhawks Tuesday night, scoring one goal in a 5-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

Fantasy Impact: Kane made an immediate impact in his first game back with Chicago after a brief stint with the Detroit Red Wings, sneaking a wrist shot past Vegas goaltender Carter Hart in the third period of the season-opening lost. The veteran winger offers head coach Jeff Blashill an impactful offensive option to eventually slot alongside the injured Connor Bedard as the season continues.
