FanDuel NBA Value Plays: Wednesday (4/5)

The regular season is winding down, with Wednesday marking just one week before the regular season ends. Eight games on the slate, and with over half the league in play there are several solid value plays to rely on while constructing your FanDuel lineup. Here are my value picks for the night. These are players that have the potential to exceed the price tag they have been given.

Guard

Tyler Ulis (PHO): $6,200 vs. GS
The Suns, losers of 12 straight, continue their youth movement, and Ulis is one of the youngsters getting additional opportunities. Coming off a career game (34 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists), Ulis has averaged 18.4 points, 9.2 assists, and 5.0 rebounds in his past five games—an average of 37.8 FanDuel points per game. The Suns are going to see what they have in their 21-year-old guard and will give him ample chances for the remainder of the season.

Ish Smith (DET): $5,500 vs. TOR
Early reports have indicated that Reggie Jackson (knee) is not expected to play, which opens the door for Smith to lead the Pistons for at least one more game. In Jackson’s absence, Smith has averaged 18.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists (31.6 FanDuel points).

Forward

Matt Barnes (GS): $3,600 vs. PHO
This is a bigger gamble than some of the other selections, but the Warriors will be playing their second game in as many nights. Andre Iguodala is scheduled to have the night off and with Kevin Durant still out of the lineup, there should be added minutes for Barnes against a dreadful Suns team. The increased opportunities and absurdly low cost make the volatile forward worth a look.

Tobias Harris (DET): $5,300 vs. TOR
Harris has scored over 30 FanDuel points in two of his past three and enters Wednesday night averaging 14.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in his past five games. Harris is a solid option and has dropped over 20 points in two of the previous three matchups against the Raptors.

Center

Clint Capela (HOU): $5,500 vs. DEN
Capela is a solid center that has scored in double-digits in five of his past eight games and has grabbed at least eight rebounds in six of his past eight. He could flirt with a double-double against a suspect Nuggets defense.
