Fantasy Football Week 13 Flex Favorites

Fantasy Football Week 13 Flex Favorites

If you’re reading this, then you are probably hoping for quality flex advice. The idea of this article is to make those tricky flex debates a little easier. A flex player is a player not in the top 60 players according to FantasyPros Flex Week 13 Rankings in half-point PPR leagues as of Wednesday.

I decided to go with the no players in the top 60 to target 12-team leagues that start two running backs and three wide receivers (five players x 12 teams = 60 players). The players below will only be running backs or wide receivers since these are the two most common positions that fill the flex spot. If you don’t have any of the players below or are facing your own flex lineup decisions and need some help, then ask me on Twitter @mitchellrenz365.

Ted Ginn Jr. (WR – NO) vs. CAR
Revenge! Ginn wants sweet, sweet revenge against his old team in this bitter rivalry. He has had over 59 receiving yards in six of his last seven games so he has actually been quite consistent. Last week Ginn had 11 targets, seven receptions for 71 yards and has shown great chemistry with Drew Brees this season. The Panthers over their last three games have given up five touchdowns to wide receivers. Ginn will continue that trend with a touchdown catch in Week 13.

Duke Johnson (RB – CLE) @LAC
The Chargers defense likes to bring pressure, but it allows running backs against them to be in favorable positions. This is a major reason why they have allowed 69 receptions to running backs this season, the most in the NFL. Johnson, this season, has 50 receptions which is the fourth-most among running backs this season. Johnson matches up well with this Chargers defense to have a solid game.

Jermaine Kearse (WR – NYJ) vs. KC
This Chiefs defense has allowed the third most fantasy points to wide receivers on the season and has given up the most touchdowns to wide receivers with 16. Last week Kearse had seven catches for 105 yards and one touchdown. The Chiefs just signed Darrelle Revis which I believe will scare people away from playing Jets wide receivers, but it shouldn’t. Kearse finds the end zone for the second straight week.

Paul Richardson (WR – SEA) vs. PHI
My gut is telling me that this Eagles and Seahawks game is going to be a high scoring affair, so I am trying to get as many pieces of this game as possible. Richardson, the last two weeks, has seen 15 targets but hasn’t scored a touchdown. In a game where there will be points scored I am betting on Richardson scoring a touchdown

Nelson Agholor (WR – PHI) @SEA
If I get asked one more time on Twitter, are you sure you want to start him against Seattle? Yes, I am sure because this Seahawks defense is injured and not the Legion of Boom. Without Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor, this defense is an average one. The Eagles offense is far from average. In fact, they have scored the most points this season averaging more than 30 points a game. Agholor has six touchdowns this season, and I believe he finds the end zone again in this matchup.

Hopefully, these players allow you to flex your fantasy flex muscles like Mohamed Sanu, Jonathan Stewart, and Sammy Watkins did last week in my Week 12 Flex Favorites.
