To that end, I made sure the combined salary of all these players came in under the FanDuel $60,000 budget; this lineup would leave $5,800 left to play with. Use these recommendations to complement high-salary selections.

Point Guard
Ricky Rubio (UTA): $6,500 vs. MIA
Rubio is a consistent option who generates respectable fantasy totals by accumulating numbers across all categories. He doesn’t excel in any one area, but collectively puts up a solid total each game. At the beginning of the month, Rubio tallied 38 FPTS against the Heat, and he should be able to replicate that on Wednesday.
Derrick Rose (MIN): $5,900 @ SAC
Rose is hitting some career high-points right now. His 18.4 points per game and 48.8 percent shooting are up there with career-bests. He has scored double-digit points in his last 15 games (excluding the two he missed) and saw over 30 minutes in the last two. He put up 35.7 FPTS when he last faced the Kings in early November, and is currently posting similar numbers to that game, slightly better in fact.

Shooting Guard
Dennis Schroder (OKC): $5,800 @ NO
Schroder has settled into a productive 6thman role for the Thunder. Despite expectations that he’d see a diminished role with Russell Westbrook returning, the talented shot guard has continued to produce. Over his last four games, he has averaged 27.3 minutes and 29.1 FPTS. He’s a solid bet for close to 30 minutes and double-digit points
JJ Reddick (PHI): $5,500 vs BKN
JJ has been consistent since earning the starting role. In his last four games, he’s seen 30+ minutes and has averaged 20 points per game. The back-to-back with the Pistons were the two lowest of those four, but Wednesday matchup with the Nets is against a far weaker defense and mean good things.
Small Forward
Justise Winslow (MIA): $5,800 @ UTA
Winslow has totaled 40+ FPTS in his last three games, in each scoring 20+ points. On Monday he hit a team-high 28 points, and that was coming in off the bench. So far this month, Winslow is averaging 35.6 FPTS and 34 minutes. His shooting percentages (56.8 FG, 52.4 3PT) over those last three games should enable him to maintain his 30+ minutes per game, which has allowed him his current hot-streak.
Kelly Oubre Jr. (WAS): $5,500 vs. BOS
Oubre will see extra minutes if either John Wall (heel) or Otto Porter Jr. (knee) are forced to sit; he scored 23 points over 37 minutes on Monday with John Wall absent. Oubre has averaged 33.5 FPTS over his last four games, and should be in for a busy night on Wednesday against the Celtics. He’s laid a few duds this season, but is currently enjoying a solid stretch of games.
Power Forward
Dario Saric (MIN): $4,000 @ SAC
It’s taken several games for Saric to settle onto his new team, but over the last four games the third-year forward has been trending up, while starter Taj Gibson has been heading in the opposite direction. Saric saw 30 minutes against the Warriors on Monday and scored 13 points, compared to Gibson’s 17 minutes for 4 points. Saric just might make Wednesday’s game against the Kings his bid to claim the starting role.
Serge Ibaka (TOR): $6,400 @ GS
Kawhi Leonard (hip) missed Tuesday’s game against the Clippers, so Ibaka picked up the slack, scoring 25 points over 24 minutes, and was one short of a double-double with nine rebounds. If Leonard is again sidelined for Wednesday’s game, get Ibaka into your lineups.
Center
Julius Randle (NO): $8,900 vs. OKC
This isn’t a low-cost option, you say, and you’re right; but for centers, I usually pay more, as there’s only one. Randle should some additional playing time on Wednesday due to the absence of Nikola Mirotic (ankle). Randle is already averaging 32.5 minutes over his last four games, in which he has three double-doubles. The Thunder are hot right now, but the last time Randle faced them, in early November, he put up 45 FPTS.
