The player movement in the off-season has created new opportunities for many players and should present some interesting picks especially in today’s lineups. Here are some suggested players at each position:

Guards
Dejounte Murray (PG – SAS): $5,600 vs. NY
Murray represents great value at $5,600 on DraftKings. He plays against what should be a terrible defensive team in the Knicks and should easily be able to rack up the points, assists and rebounds. Murray missed last year with an ACL injury but looks poised to have a breakout year and this could start against the lowly Knicks. He should easily give you around 30 fantasy points in tonight’s slate and will be a player you might regret not taking in your lineup.
Markelle Fultz (G – ORL): $3,900 vs CLE
Fultz is a bit of an unknown heading into this season but could be poised to breakout with his shoulder and confidence fully intact. In the preseason his jumper looked fantastic and he should be able to get enough playing time to have much more of an impact than his value suggests. The Magic are playing the lowly Cavaliers who look to have a backcourt that can’t defend anyone, which should bode well for Fultz. He should easily score 15 points and dish out seven assists while grabbing about four rebounds. Fultz should easily exceed his price and give you around 25 fantasy points.

Bradley Beal (SG – WAS): $8,800 @DAL
Beal is another player that came on strong last year and should continue that success this year. Beal is the go-to scorer and basically the point guard of the Wizards. Beal is a do-all type guard who might even enter the conversation for MVP. He faces a Mavericks team that doesn’t look to pack much defense in the backcourt. Look for Beal to have his way with the Mavericks and easily exceed 45 fantasy points. He is another star player to consider having in your lineup and should be an even better pick than some of the other more expensive players.
Jaylen Brown (G – BOS): $5,000 @PHI
Brown is another decently valued player to consider for your lineup. With Kyrie Irving gone this offense should run a lot more efficiently. The 76ers are no joke on the defensive end but Brown is the type of player who should give you points with his overall contributions. The 76ers will focus more on stopping Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum which should allow Brown to score more and grab some more rebounds. Brown should also be a prime candidate to rack up some steals as well as have a few blocks. Overall, look for him to give you a nicely balanced game and exceed 20 fantasy points.
Forwards
Buddy Hield (G – SAC): $7,000 @PHO
Hield on DraftKings is eligible at the forward spot as well as the guard spot. He is one of the best three-point shooters in the NBA and gets a pretty easy matchup against a lowly Suns team. Hield should provide enough scoring power to justify his value as well as add in a few assists and rebounds. Hield has the potential to score 40 points ore more against the Suns as he is the King’s go-to scorer and the Suns don’t have anyone to stop him. He should easily give you more than 20 fantasy points tonight.
Justise Winslow (F – MIA): $5,800 vs. MEM
Winslow finished the season strong last year and should get ample opportunities to run the Heat offense off the bench. Winslow isn’t a great shooter and doesn’t project to be a high volume scorer but he should be good for an almost triple-double in this game against a Grizzlies team that projects to be a poor defensive team. Look for Winslow to get close to 20 fantasy points tonight.
Miles Bridges (F – CHA): $5,700 vs. CHI
Bridges is another player to take a flyer on tonight as he faces a terrible Bulls team. Bridges should be able to score at will here as well as grab a few rebounds and get a few blocks and steals. He has a high upside and should play plenty of minutes in this one. The Bulls project to be one of the worse teams in the NBA and this should be a great opportunity for Bridges to showcase his skills, he should easily exceed 20 fantasy points tonight.
Christian Wood (F – DET): $4,800 @IND
Wood should be a sneaky value play tonight with Blake Griffin out. It is also possible that Wood gets the start tonight and could play significant minutes if Markieff Morris also misses time. Either way, he should have the opportunity to put up a nice double-double and give you a solid 20 fantasy points ore more.
Centers
Karl-Anthony Towns (C – MIN): $10,100 @BKN
Towns is primed for a big season this year and it starts against the Nets. He has improved his shooting range and should be able to score even more points. The Timberwolves will rely on him to do everything from scoring to rebounding to dishing out assists from the post. Towns has also shown that he has gotten better on the defensive end and should be primed to get more blocks this season. Look for him to triple-double in this game and to get around two or three blocks. He should give you around 50 fantasy points in this contest.
Bobby Portis (C – NYK): $5,500 @SAS
Portis should draw the start at center for the Knicks against the Spurs with Mitchell Robinson being ruled out. He should be able to give you a nice double-double in points and rebounds and provide solid value for his $5,500 price point. Portis should exceed 20 fantasy points tonight and provide those who take him with solid value.
Dewayne Dedmon (C – SAC): $5,100 @PHO
Dedmon will go up against the Suns tonight and should ample opportunity as the Kings starting center. He will have to outmuscle Deandre Ayton for rebounds but should be able to put together a nice game and a possible double-double. Dedmon has high upside and could exceed 20 fantasy points per game.
