FanDuel Projected Ownership: Week 10 (2019)

It’s Week 10, so let’s take a look at who is projected to be highly owned in FanDuel leagues. I’ll be taking a look at our projected ownership tool to give you DFS fantasy insights each week, so let’s see what we find this time around!

Quarterbacks

Most FanDuel lineups should feature either Drew Brees or Lamar Jackson this week, and I agree that they’re the two top options. Let’s start with Brees. He’s got a pretty easy matchup against a bad Falcons team, and he’ll have all of his weapons to beat them with. That’s right, Jared Cook, Tre’Quan Smith, and Alvin Kamara are all back this week. The Falcons give up 23.8 FanDuel points per game to quarterbacks, the second-most in the league. Similarly, Jackson takes on another bad team. The Bengals surrender 22.1 FanDuel points per game to the position, which is good for fifth-most. Jackson dismantled the Bengals back in Week 6, so this he’s set for another QB1 performance. At around 12%, we’ve got both Jameis Winston and Kyler Murray. They’ll play each other in what should be a high-scoring game. The Cardinals and the Buccaneers are first and third in most FanDuel points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, so either Winston or Murray should be safe bets. The outlier in this list has got to be Mahomes. I’m as optimistic as anyone that he can quickly get back to form, but he could be without two of his starting offensive linemen. That said, the Titans defense isn’t great against quarterbacks, and they did just lose Malcolm Butler to an injury. If you’re looking to spend money at quarterback, I’d go with either Brees or Jackson over Mahomes just until we can see how well the Chiefs quarterback has recovered.
