Lineup Notes
With righty Jameson Taillon on the mound, Jason Heyward and David Peralta are likely to be in the lineup over the right-handed-hitting Luke Williams and Trayce Thompson. Catcher Will Smith is on the concussion IL, and veteran Austin Barnes is likely to see the majority of the time behind the plate in his absence. Chris Taylor has missed the last two games with side soreness, but the team is hopeful he’ll be able to return to the lineup soon. Luke Williams started in his place Wednesday. James Outman has worked his way to the top of the order against righties after spending much of the first two weeks in the lower half of the lineup.

| 9 | Tucker Barnhart (C) | L | .313 |
Lineup Notes
Eric Hosmer and Tucker Barnhart enter our projected lineup with a righty on the mound. Patrick Wisdom has been moving up in the order of late thanks to his hot start, and he was all the way up to fifth in the lineup with Trey Mancini out on Wednesday. Mancini is expected back on Thursday, however. Veteran OF Seiya Suzuki was also out of the lineup Wednesday but has batted cleanup in each of his five games since being activated from the injured list.
