4 Fantasy Football Burning Questions for Week 2 (2024)

We are back for another NFL season and, most importantly, another fantasy football season. You might be feeling good after a 1-0 start, but you might be concerned about certain pieces of your lineup. If you lost last week, don’t worry; there’s still time to make moves and put yourself in the right direction.

Let’s answer some burning questions you have for Week 2.

Week 2 Fantasy Football Burning Questions

Of all the starting rookie quarterbacks, who do you trust the most going forward?

It’s Jayden Daniels because of his legs. He will soon move into the elite tier with Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts and Josh Allen.

He didn’t have an excellent passing performance in Week 1, with only 181 passing yards and zero passing touchdowns, but 88 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns made him the fantasy QB3 last week.

The Commanders’ offensive line isn’t great, but that’s good for your fantasy team because it means Daniels will get flushed out of the pocket. As a rookie, he doesn’t have the confidence to make throws on the run, so he will tuck and run.

Of all the rookie wide receivers that were duds last week, who do you trust the most going forward?

It looks like Marvin Harrison Jr. has the best outlook going forward.

Malik Nabers is the only viable option in that Giants offense, and we can’t trust Daniel Jones. It seems neither can Nabers.

At least Kyler Murray has Trey McBride, and Greg Dortch had an excellent game last week. If the Cardinals show they have other options in the passing game, that will take pressure off Harrison and he’ll get better opportunities.

Is J.K. Dobbins the best Chargers running back option?

For now, yes, until he gets hurt again. J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards assumed the same roles in Los Angeles because they had the same offensive coordinator as they did in Baltimore.

Greg Roman knows Edwards is a short-yardage back and Dobbins is the passing-back and early-down back. Those roles aren’t changing until one of them goes down. Keep rolling with Dobbins for the best fantasy opportunities.

Are you concerned about how some of the top tight ends performed?

Not at all. Week 1 has become difficult to gauge because we don’t know the identity of these teams. Some barely play in the preseason, and some don’t at all, so these don’t tell us what will work. You will not win many matchups if you predict how a player’s season will go based on a 10-second clip from training camp.

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll see these guys get back to form.
