  • Isaiah Likely (TE – BAL): Isaiah Likely impressed in Week 1 with 12 targets, nine receptions, 111 receiving yards and a touchdown, quickly becoming a hot waiver wire pickup. Though Mark Andrews is expected to return to form after a slow start, Likely’s performance suggests he could carve out standalone value in the Ravens’ offense. While Pat Fitzmaurice notes that some overreacted to Andrews’ slow Week 1, he still sees Likely as a valuable handcuff, especially with tight end injuries across the league. Derek Brown, however, advises caution, suggesting that Week 1 was Likely’s peak performance. He emphasizes that fantasy managers should not overspend on him, recommending bids around 15-20% of your FAAB budget. While many might bid higher due to tight end scarcity, Brown warns that Likely’s role may diminish as the season progresses.
  • J.K. Dobbins (RB – LAC): J.K. Dobbins made a strong statement in Week 1, scoring a touchdown and displaying efficiency with his 10 carries. Derek Brown highlights Dobbins’ 59% snap share and involvement in the passing game (17 routes run). Despite a long touchdown run boosting his stat line, Dobbins’ underlying usage points to a potential workhorse role in the Chargers’ offense. While already rostered in many leagues, for the 40% of leagues where Dobbins is available, Pat Fitzmaurice believes Dobbins is worth a 30-40% FAAB bid. The Ravens’ run-heavy approach should continue to provide plenty of opportunities for him moving forward.
  • Tank Bigsby (RB – JAX): Tank Bigsby showed up in Week 1, looking powerful with his carries. Despite Travis Etienne dominating the passing game work, Bigsby matched him in total carries, showing early-down viability. Derek Brown likes Bigsby as a premium handcuff, especially in deeper leagues, where his ability to get six to eight touches per game makes him flex-viable. He recommends spending 5-6% of FAAB on Bigsby due to his potential upside as a handcuff and solid Week 1 performance.
