2025 NFL Mock Draft: Trade Predictions for Dynasty Rookies

ROUND 1

*** TRADE ALERT ***

Dallas Cowboys receive picks 4, 106. New England Patriots receive picks 12, 44, 2026 second-rounder.

4.) Dallas Cowboys (via Patriots): Ashton Jeanty (RB – Boise State)

Let’s dive into the first trade of the mock draft. Jerry Jones loves to be in the headlines and make a blockbuster move. The Cowboys hit a home run the last time they drafted a running back fourth overall — Ezekiel Elliott in 2016. While some will call this a reach, Ashton Jeanty has been labeled a blue-chip prospect by many top draft experts.

*** TRADE ALERT ***

New York Giants receive pick 24. Minnesota Vikings receive picks 34, 65, 2026 second-rounder.

24.) New York Giants (via Vikings): Shedeur Sanders (QB – Colorado)

Shedeur Sanders’ slide finally ends with the Giants trading back into the first round. While they might not take the former Colorado star over a blue-chip prospect like Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter, New York will gladly part with a trio of Day 2 picks to land their new franchise quarterback.

*** TRADE ALERT ***

Jacksonville Jaguars receive pick 26. Los Angeles Rams receive picks 36, 70.

26.) Jacksonville Jaguars (via Rams): Emeka Egbuka (WR – Ohio State)

New head coach Liam Coen saw the value in having two star wide receivers last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Emeka Egbuka and Brian Thomas Jr. could be his new version of Chris Godwin and Mike Evans in Jacksonville.

ROUND 2

*** TRADE ALERT ***

Denver Broncos receive pick 38. New England Patriots receive picks 51, 85.

38.) Denver Broncos (via Patriots): TreVeyon Henderson (RB – Ohio State)

The Broncos don’t have many needs on paper. Therefore, don’t be surprised if they trade up during the NFL Draft to fill one of their few needs. TreVeyon Henderson would be a superstar filling the Alvin Kamara role in Sean Payton’s offense.

*** TRADE ALERT ***

Seattle Seahawks receive pick 41. Chicago Bears receive picks 52, 82.

41.) Seattle Seahawks (via Bears): Tre Harris (WR – Ole Miss)

The Seahawks swapped out DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett for Cooper Kupp and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Neither veteran has long-term value. Therefore, Seattle should be aggressive in drafting a wide receiver to pair with Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

*** TRADE ALERT ***

New York Jets receive pick 61. Washington Commanders receive picks 73, 145, 2026 fourth-rounder.

61.) New York Jets (via Commanders): Elic Ayomanor (WR – Stanford)

Garrett Wilson is one of the better young wide receivers in the NFL. However, the rest of the Jets wide receiver core is unproven options or overrated veterans. Elic Ayomanor should earn the No. 2 wide receiver role early in his rookie season..

*** TRADE ALERT ***

Pittsburgh Steelers receive pick 64. New Orleans Saints receive picks 83, 2026 third-rounder.

64.) Pittsburgh Steelers (via Saints, Eagles): Jalen Milroe (QB – Alabama)

Whether the Steelers land Aaron Rodgers or roll with Mason Rudolph as their starting quarterback in 2025, the team doesn’t have a long-term option on the roster. Meanwhile, the Saints trade back and secure their third Day 2 pick in the 2026 draft as they work on rebuilding the roster.
